One of uur favorite shops is The Hive, the perfect shop for finding handmade crafts, jewelry, and other items from local artists and craft makers who know what people are looking for. Head here to grab some unique South African jewelry, silver bracelets, and artsy t-shirts.

St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota is a premier shopping destination that was first introduced back in 1926 — and has continued to be a hit ever since! This infamous ‘circle’ features tropical gardens, cute sidewalk cafes with espresso-laden drinks, seafood restaurants for a fancy lunch, and high-end shops that you won’t soon forget. Featuring over 100 stores, it is no wonder people come here from all over the state. We recommend going to one of the eateries before you hit the shops. Check out Blu if you want some focaccia bread with tasty olive oil and the perfect pour of Cabernet Sauvignon. If you would rather enjoy European dining and French influence, head to Cafe L’Europe.In the mood for tropical food? ChaCha Coconuts has a fun atmosphere and tasty, fresh, and light food that is great for a healthy lunch.
For those who have shopped all day and want a hearty dinner, Crab & Fin offers fresh and tasty seafood that can’t be beaten. Head here any day between 4 pm and 6 pm to enjoy happy hour at the bar and share some early dining specials between 4:45 pm and 5:45 pm.
