Shopping in Anna Maria Island
Suppose you are in the mood to pick up some souvenirs, high-end boutique items, or family requests for your loved ones back home. In that case, we have a few places you NEED to check out during your vacation on Anna Maria Island!
When you stay in one of our rentals from SeaBreeze Vacation Rentals, you are going to be super close to all there is to do and see — and that includes Anna Maria Island shopping centers, unique stores, memorabilia shops, and much more.
Bridge Street
Bridge Street is one of the most infamous spots that you need to explore during your time on vacation. Not only is it a beautiful and aesthetic street for just wandering around and enjoying your vacation in the sun, but it offers family-friendly activities, an “Old Florida” vibe that is missing in more modern twins, and a pristine shoreline on the Gulf Coast that is unspoiled with tons of tourists.
Bridge Street has ample dining options, like the Beach House Waterfront Restaurant with local and freshly-caught seafood, Blue Marlin Seafood with fantastic fresh seafood in a cute cottage atmosphere, and Bridge Tender Inn with yummy steaks and hearty pasta dishes.
Once you have fueled up for the day, head to one of the many shops to start filling your cart. We like The Hive, the perfect shop for finding handmade crafts, jewelry, and other items from local artists and craft makers who know what people are looking for. Head here to grab some unique South African jewelry, silver bracelets, and artsy t-shirts.
If you want to shop for jewelry specifically, then there is nowhere better than Bridge Street Jewelers. Pick up a gift for that special someone when you head here and browse their designer pieces, customized necklaces, and much more.
For those who want some artwork to bring back home, the Uptown Lot has it all. Gayden Shell, the manager, and owner, knows how to put colors, shapes, and textures together to create recycled jewelry, eye-catching photography, and personalized gifts.
Ellenton Premium Outlets
For visitors who want to spend an entire day shopping in Anna Maria at some high-end outlets to find designer items and luxury accessories, Ellenton is THE destination for you. Located just 45 minutes from Anna Maria Island, this outlet shopping mall delivers some of the country’s best high-end experiences.
Kids will love going to Aeropostale to find the perfect top or pair of jeans for spending time with their friends. Or, they can pick up some gear for their sports teams at Under Armor. You can shop for your smaller children at The Children’s Place if they need a bathing suit or a sun-safe hat for the beach!
If you need to purchase some perfume, deodorant, or haircare product, Bath and Body Works has it all. Other great accessory stores include Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Claire’s, Coach, Gold Mine Jewelry, Gold Palace, and Hanes. If you are in need of a new outfit for vacation, head to Calvin Klein, Guess, J. Crew, Lacoste, Lee Wrangler, or Levi’s to find the perfect date night top or pair of pants.
St. Armand’s Circle
Last but not least, St. Armand’s Circle is a premier shopping destination that was first introduced back in 1926 — and has continued to be a hit ever since! This infamous ‘circle’ features tropical gardens, cute sidewalk cafes with espresso-laden drinks, seafood restaurants for a fancy lunch, and high-end shops that you won’t soon forget. Featuring over 100 stores, it is no wonder people come here from all over the state. We recommend going to one of the eateries before spending your entire day shopping on your feet. Check out Blu if you want some focaccia bread with tasty olive oil and the perfect pour of Cabernet Sauvignon. If you would rather enjoy European dining and French influence, head to Cafe L’Europe.
In the mood for tropical food? ChaCha Coconuts has a fun atmosphere and tasty, fresh, and light food that is great for a healthy lunch.
For those who have shopped all day and want a hearty dinner, Crab & Fin offers fresh and tasty seafood that can’t be beaten. Head here any day between 4 pm and 6 pm to enjoy happy hour at the bar and share some early dining specials between 4:45 pm and 5:45 pm.
Share some items from the raw bar, like the Washington Olympic oysters or the Prince Edward Island Mussels with sherry garlic butter, tomatoes, and herb-buttered crostini!
If you are in need of jewelry, you can’t go wrong with an Anna Maria Island shopping spree at Alexander Fine Jewelers, Armel Jewelers, Jewelry by Cole, Landing Company, Lugo, Otto’s, or Simona.
Do you need to bring back home a souvenir from Florida? Head to Allini Handcrafted Soap, Anatolian Collection, Bennington’s, Cariloha, Cigar Paradise Boutique Columbia, Fugates by the Sea, or Karavan to purchase unique items you won’t find elsewhere!
