Bean Point

Bean Point is one of the most peaceful stretches of sand on the island. It sits at the northern tip where the Gulf meets the bay, creating soft waves and wide open views. Many people consider it the most beautiful part of Anna Maria because it feels untouched. If you want a quiet moment, a romantic sunset or a family afternoon away from the busy beaches, this is the place. Bean Point

Rod and Reel Pier

Rod and Reel Pier has an old Florida feel that is hard to find now. You can walk out over the water, watch locals fish and grab a simple meal with views of Tampa Bay. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you have stumbled onto a local secret. It is the perfect stop for families, couples and anyone who wants an easy, low pressure outing.

Coquina Baywalk at Leffis Key

Coquina Baywalk gives you a chance to slip into nature without going far. The boardwalk winds through mangroves and calm coastal wetlands. Kids love looking for fish, birds and small crabs and adults love the peaceful atmosphere. It is an easy walk and a refreshing break from the busy parts of the island.

Anna Maria Island Historical Society Museum

This small museum brings the island’s past to life with photos, stories and artifacts from the early fishing village days. It is a short visit and a surprisingly fun one. You leave with a deeper appreciation of the people who shaped the island long before it became a vacation favorite.

Pine Avenue Boutiques

Pine Avenue has a handful of small, charming shops that feel handmade and personal. You can browse coastal home items, clothing, art and little gifts you will not find in larger stores. It is a calm stretch to wander on a breezy afternoon and a great place to pick up something unique from your trip.

Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park is a perfect blend of water views, comfort and quiet. Families often come here to picnic, sit beneath the trees or let kids play in the soft sand near the gentle shoreline. It is close enough to restaurants and shops for convenience but still feels tucked away. It is a peaceful morning or sunset spot that often gets overlooked.

The Donut Experiment

The Donut Experiment lets you build your own donut from start to finish. Kids get excited about the endless combinations of toppings and adults appreciate something fun and different during a beach morning. It is small, friendly and an easy treat to bring back to your rental.

Palma Sola Botanical Park

A short drive off the island brings you to Palma Sola Botanical Park, a quiet place full of tropical plants, small lakes and shaded paths. It is perfect for relaxed walks or an hour of downtime when you want something peaceful. If your group loves nature or photography, this spot is worth the trip.

Hidden Oasis at Bayfront Pier

This small area near the pier is one of those quiet hideaways visitors rarely talk about. The shoreline is calm, the views stretch across the water and the breezes make the whole place feel soothing.
