The AMI Privateers 4th of July Parade can be found over at Coquina Beach, one of the most popular beaches in the area. The parade will march along with decorated floats some even resembling pirate ships! Friendly warning, many floats have been known in the past to carry water guns with them for a little crowd engagement along with beads. The AMI Privateers 4th of July Parade is just the first of many ways to celebrate your holiday with us over the summer. Anna Maria Island is home to our very own minor league baseball team that always puts on an Independence Day Celebration game just in time for 4th of July. This year they will be on the road for the holiday itself so their holiday tradition will instead take place on July 3rd. The Bradenton Marauders have become hometown celebrities with their games always being a family friendly delight. This year’s Independence Day Celebration will be against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels with the game starting at 6:30 PM. In year’s past, the event has provided the first 1,500 fans with complimentary t shirts along with other prizes. Make sure to stick around after the game has ended to catch their fireworks show that is guaranteed to light up the night sky.
