Head out to the bright blue waters to swim in the area where the Gulf of Mexico water and the Bay meets, making for a beautiful color combination and the ideal sunrise spot.

If you head to Manatee Beach first, and don’t find any spot, you can actually walk along the sand to access Bean Point in a few minutes. Day Trip to Bradenton Beach
Another fun thing to do during your stay on Anna Maria Island is to take a day trip to the nearby Bradenton Beach. Bradenton offers a picturesque beach, bright blue waters, cool shops, and mouthwatering seafood restaurants that are all a nice day trip from the close-by AMI. Are you feeling a bit tired after a long day of traveling? If so, then head to one of the top cafes and coffee spots on Anna Maria Island to get some espresso flowing through your veins!
We love heading to Island Coffee Haus, LLC, to meet new people, chat with our friends, lounge around in one of the cozy chairs, and get an iced coffee that is going to perk us right up! The owner, Beverly Kilpatrick, spent time in Portugal and learned the importance of quality beans, different roasting methods, and unique snacks that have made this coffee point so popular in Florida today. We recommend trying any of the hot or iced coffee beverages, iced teas, herbal teas, and fruit smoothies that are perfect for kids. If you want a hefty dose of protein after a run or a gym session, then we recommend getting the mermaid oats!
Eat a Filling Breakfast
Last but not least, we have the perfect breakfast spot to go to during your stay on Anna Maria Island. Although you can make breakfast and coffee at all of our vacation rentals, you can’t go wrong with splurging every now and then at Ginny and Jane E’s Cafe and Gift Store.
Head here to get some of the best breakfast on the entire island, such as the breve coffee with a sweet cinnamon roll. Or you can try to be a bit healthier with a milk alternative drink or a black Americano. However, it’s vacation — you don’t need to be healthy! Try the baked goods or hearty breakfast plates to get your day started right.

And trust us, this place is much more enjoyable than going to your nearby physician or dentist! The Doctor’s Office features tons of cocktails on its never-ending menu. Not sure what to get? We recommend splurging and buying the “Song of Ice and Fire'' group cocktail for $45 — you will be able to test the fresh orange and pineapple fruit. But you might not notice it since the cocktail is lit on fire before being served to your table!
